Congratulations to everyone for the release of 11.6. It's uses and
impact will be increasing steadily. On a personal note, thanks for
adding features that I have inquired about, and for the periodic
help in using Jmol.

In FF, in either case, x will yield the image when assigned to an
img such as
src= data:image/jpeg;base64,'+ x + '.
The data:image/jpeg;base64 is required for both.

I couldn't find any new link to the documentation at www.jmol.org.

Would a feature like testimg.src=jmolGetImage (jpeg) involve

(Have I just fully revealed my lack of understanding of JAVA, or, is
this already possible and I have once again missed it in the documentation?)
Thanks!

that
jmolGetPropertyAsString(image) fires before the color change --
even if I build in a delay such as:
setTimeout(myImage = jmolGetPropertyAsString(image),1);
or
jmolScript(color background white; delay 5);
I'm using jmol-11-6-RC12.
Is there a solution?

have drag mode for drawn points, so perhaps an extension of that would
work with atoms. But I could imagine some sort of sculpt mode coming out

Bob,
Assuming that atom-picking has not been deprecated, it no longer
seems to be working in 11.3.62.

I saw in the archives a query about the status of wireframerotation
and that is has be discontinued. It would be a wonderful educational
tool. Any chance of revival?

Hi all,
Is there a callback that returns the id of a draw object (line,
e.g.)? I would like to be able to click on a line and retrieve its
id number. If not, might this function be developed?

Embarrassing question: How does one export images (e.g., jpg,
etc)? I've seen reference to an export command in the 'File' menu
-- but I can't find this. Thanks
