Thanks to both of you for your advice. I'm not just wanting to store if an element is open/closed, I need to be able to do something like google where I can move objects around and remember where they are and what their status is (open/closed). I'm no javascript programmer so is it possible you

Just discovered this library and its excellent and seems to be doing what I need at the minute. I'm no javascript programmer be any means and this made my lift a lot easier. Just one thing though. I've got it so I can move things around the page and hide/show objects but it is possible to place
