I am working with the fantastic JQuery Cycle Plugin. Thank you very
much for creating such great librarys!
I am almost there But I have a very basic problem.
Start/stopping the slideshow is fine with click on thumbnails/pictures/
slideshow.

I just wanted to take a moment to say that is some excellent
documentation! I wish more plugins were documented like this (tutorial
format)!

Playing with the wonderful Cycle plugin. Rather than using container ID's and
having specific options for each, I want to use the same settings for
multiple containers of the same class. In other words, rather than:
$('div#containerName').cycle({
fx: 'scrollH
I'm using the cycle plug in and I was wondering if anyone knew a way to
access the file name and display it with the image.
If this can't be done I have worked myself into a nice hole J

I'm using M. Alsup's Cycle plugin to transition between a series of
images. This is working as expected, but I'm having problems getting
an additional image to appear "above" them, at a higher z-index. I've
tried giving both elements a fixed z-index, and by using a transparent

Anybody interested in re-programming either Plugin above so the fading can
