After hunting around, I ended up using a window icon, but I think
the expand / collapse or + / - would be better in retrospect.
I'm surprised there's no defacto standard emerging on icon
semantics... e.g., an office set, a navagational set...

Silk is a great deal, great looking, almost 1,000 icons. I don't see
a show / hide tho...
IconBuffet looks like it could be the deal. I've signed in as

You could use the icons 'add.png' and 'delete.png' for hide/show maybe?
