Hello everybody!
I have the following GREAT problem with basic authentication in Tomcat
I have two servers configured as follows:
Server 1:
Operating system: Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Web Server: IIS 5.0
Servlet Container: Tomcat 4.x
Server 2: Windows XP Professional
Web Server: IIS 5.0
Then I think the problem is with the configuration only. But what that is a good
question ;-)

When I tried to use the tomcat-IIS combination, everything crashes.
I tried to find any piece of information in several mailing lists
(including tomcat-user mailing list) unsuccessfully. Everything was

Hi All,
I have a problem when I try to deploy my application
using Tomcat & IIS.
My requirement is that I need to install different
applications using the same IIS - Tomcat (single
instance) setup.
So, in order to facilitate this, instead of making the

Hi all,
Any help appreciated greatly.
We've succesfully installed Tomcat on top of IIS on NT4 in a test
environment. After some fiddling all is working fine. However we've now
tried to transfer that setup across to the production server and are having
problems.
After setup and restarting all w
e by modifying the httpd.conf we can make the url(WWW.companyname.com) running
on local intrane but in our configuration I don't know how to configure the same
url(on Tomcat /IIS) ?
I will be very thank ful if you could spare some time and get me out of this problem.
Thanking you in ant
