displaying japanese characters

Hello Everybody, The problem is that-I am trying to display any Japanese word in a HTML page-it works fine. But when the same is being served by a jsp it doesnt work out. I am using GNUJSP with ApacheJServ. Could anyone find me a solution. Or if it is available on the forum could anyone refer.
