I have had some installation problems. This is what I have done this far:
- Downloaded VertexSymbols.jar and placed into lib\ext (you see I am on
Windows, Java 1.6)
- Downloaded Batik and placed 19 jar files from the lib-folder into new OJ
lib\Batik directory

There is no need of all other batik, neither to modify Oj scipts.

I made another try with your method and got OJ to start (seems to be 1.4.1
alpha) also without additional Batik stuff. I can see the Printer plugin and
Vertex symbols icons. Printer plugin seems
I suggest adding try/catch blocks to critical points e.g. where
JumpPrinter/iText are used the first time to inform the user what is missing.
This should be done with all libs that are used but not part of the oj standard
distribution or the extensions distribution itself.

just had a look at line 148 of com.cadplan.jump.VertexSymbols .. it itereates
there over the wkt symbols .. did you put a folder of wkts at the right place?
still this is a bug, no NPE should arise but a message to the user to install
the symbols should be shown to the user ..

You found it. Installation creates an empty VertexImages directory but I had to
place one GIF-file into it to get the plugin to start.

available into Sextante layer tree (first ToggleRasterImageVisibility , than

I did not check if context menu order is the same as plugin declaration

Thanks for the bug report - I have now uploaded a revised version -
hopefully fixing the problem when no image/wkt symbols are present.
Please advise if any more problems are found.

@geoff : on your website, announced release for VertexSymbol is still
0.15, but doc is 0.174 and downloaded version is 177
some wkt symbol are not displayed entirely in the dialog box (ex.
024.wkt from Giuseppe)
