The size of the dialogs fits the screen of my notebook. I didn't find any
problems yet.

mmh, not really resolved.
If I change french labels, I can see that the problem mainly lies in the
ScaleStylePanel.

It seems that (fr) horizontal has increased to 824 while vertical has
reduced to 504. What was it before?
This is what I was afraid of. Optimization of multi-language dialogs is
very tricky.
