Not sure of your application, but you can still place your st0 interface

I have a lab environment and I want to simulate a fiber cut, but I'm not
able to physically pull the fibers. I know that if the CLI is used to
disable an interface, the code has mechanisms that assist protocol
convergence. I saw a JTAC engineer enter a command from the FPC shell

All,
It has been a bit of a battle for me as a first time Juniper user to get
Netflows exported using an MS-DPC. With a tremendous amount (some from this
list) of help the flows are being exported.

I got the answer offline. On an MX or T-Series router for a 10GE
interface, use the following commands:
start shell pfe network fpcX
test xfp index laser off
You can find the XFP index by doing show xfp list from the shell
prompt. I haven't seen a method that works for SFP interfaces.

I opened a case and we will see what happens. I have zero issue with moving to
new code if it will solve the issue. This router doesn't do a whole lot (and
even less without correct flow reporting)
Thanks,

Hi there.
I haven't had time to lab this up due to travelling but we are trying to
find a way to do egress policing on an EX switch for VLAN's - is there a
such thing? I understand there is ingress policing?
These are EX4200 switches primarily where a LAN service comes in one port

Hello ,
I have a juniper m10i with a GE interface . Running junos 8.2 . The
router is connected to an External Router via one GE interface.
But the GE interface is reporting hi latency . In a normal working the

I just wanted to respond back on-list about this .. thank you to everyone
who made suggestions on this issue.
The set security flow tcp-session no-syn-check resolved our issue as
suggested below.
My last question is to understand the risk associated to disabling the
syn-check. Does this effect
