We have a label on both the left and right side, sticking out as a tab on
left and folded over on right. in both cases the label was adhered prior to
putting the ears on.

On some of our QFX5100 we have had to vertically label the rack mount ears
or the U marker of the rack itself which is not ideal. Another option is to
tie a tag through the ventilation holes with string.
