hello David, Thank you for your quick reply. I have read the requirement. But i use a RE-2.0 333 768 routing engine in this system, 'without' a flash card. There is no card onboard or in the back. Is there no option to resize partitions or something? Thank you for your great help. best regards,

hi again, i am sorry there is indeed a flashcard on this router. ad0: 122MB SanDisk SDCFB-128 [980/8/32] at ata0-master PIO4 I think i can upgrade the flashcard to a 512-1024 MB card without any problems? someone has experience with that? There is also harddisk in it ad1: 19077MB IBM-DJSA-220

Hello, yes, you can upgrade the flash without problems on the RE2 but as said previously its a bit work. You should use sandisk CF(v1) cards. The RE will boot from the CF as primary media since its faster than the hdd. However you can run the RE without flash but its not recommended since you
