I've been testing sflow with 10.4 and getting good results. The rest if the
code I cannot comment on.

we are running 2x EX4200 in a VC with BGP default route 0.0.0.0/0 over ports
ge-0/0/23 and ge-1/0/23
The JunOS version is 10.0S10
The interfaces ge-0/0/0 and ge-1/0/0 are a aggregate interface ae0 and
trunked
to the rack-switch.
The problem is, that the VC is not exporting sflow
