Are you part of the development team, Mr. Sharp? Did you design the logo?
Because if you're not or didn't,then I don't know why you're even involved in
this. This forum is for users to raise their concern or make comments on the
usability, features, and design of the app and that's exactly what
New logo looks horribly tacky and was a very poor decision of the development
team.
The main reason why I chose K9 Mail over the many other apps was mostly due to
the classic logo which really needs to come back. Very bad choice K9 Dog

Hi,
I am getting the message below from K9main internal when I send or receive a
message.
It only shows for gmail accounts configured using IMAP.
Can you please help me on this:

Interesting! I didn't know that Comcast FINALLY added IMAP support. I just
went and added my Comcast acct to k9 & got it to work. I used your
settings. First I tried Incoming 993 & Outgoing 587 and got an SSL
certificate error. So then I tried Incoming 993 & Outgoing 465 and it
worked fine!

On my S4 Active (AT&T) I'm using the stock email app for my @aim.com email
address (which is an AOL address). I have *smtp.aim.com* with *SSL*, Port
*465* and *Require Sign-in* checked. I just tried to send an email & it
worked fine. So, either the difference is *aim* instead of *aol* or it's

I just tried it on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active & it worked fine. I added
both widgets just to check. Just a thought, have you rebooted since you
installed k9? Maybe that'll fix it.

Well look at that! You're right. Who would've thought? Guess adding a menu
button would be too much. SMH

Certainly not very user friendly or intuitive
1. Hold your device in landscape view
2. Open a message for viewing
3. Click Menu
4. Now you should have a *Send...* option that doesn't exist in Portrait
view
5. Now you have a *Share* option
That just took me about 10 minutes
