I see that the info I just sent is old and slightly out of date. Here
is corrected information. The upshot is that both TN3215_CONSOLE and
TN3270_CONSOLE may be specified for a kernel. If they are both
specified, the type of VM console is accepted as is (learned from
interaction with V

IBM or someone renamed CONFIG_32* to CONFIG_TN32* but the functionality
and semantics remain the same. Here's the latest from Red Hat's distro
