This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be
initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. Available
platform plugins are: direct2d, minimal, offscreen, windows.

That is not so. I have kdepim-addon installed and its version is
18.12.0-1pclos2018, all packages have the newest version according to PCLinuxOS
repository.
