I can also add a bit more about the behavior: when the new icon is created it's
not movable within the other pinned icons in the task manager, (it can only be
moved among the open items).

The problem is not the delay because of filling and reading the buffer or the
process stucking at 100%, but when you click "Cancel" the copying process
continues for a very long time of 8 seconds.
