If anyone has a solution for aarch64 please post it. AVX isn't relevant (as an
x86_64 extension)

It looks like kwin constraints the window to be inside the work area, you
should not be able to move the window so the titlebar goes offscreen with
restricted move. You could move the window using Meta+LMB to

@dofficialgman which version of Plasma / KDE are you using? I'm on Arch /
aarch64, and this issue seems to be fixed on 6.0 / 6.1. Tested on both X11 and
Wayland.

So I've used Arch, Debian, and Fedora, all have this issue. The common thread
between them is that they're running on aarch64

Sooo I'm not sure if I've just gone completely mad from too much compiling,
while hunting for a cause for an issue with Wine [1], but yesterday this issue
disappeared for me, and then returned today after restarting

I just installed Arch ARM in a new VM, using UTM (technically QEMU), same
result as in Parallels. Cannot move windows past the left or top of the screen.
This was before doing any changes to my DE.

I tried going back to Plasma bits at 5.27.0, and it happened there as well, and
unfortunately did not have time to bisect older than that since I'd need to
start bringing the Frameworks with it to be able to compile

Er, KWin and friends I meant to say; not sure it's KWin specifically, but in
one of my quicker tests the behaviour returned to normal for me when
downgrading KWin and friends to below 5.27.4 if I recall correct-like.

Right, it should, and was, before an update to KWin.
I guess I'll really have to go digging where it starts and then the why. :]
Thanks!

Trying to get that now. I kid you not, between posting this and today my
Parallels trial expired so I cannot boot the VM at the moment.

Oh and while normally the panel would come out of hiding when the pointer gets
to the very edge of the screen, it acts as if the edge is on the opposite
border instead, so moving the pointer to the area the panel is
