Good morning dear KDE people
After KDE's first fundraiser (crowdfunding attempt) in 2012 [1] we had (or
it's still ongoing) six more this year:
- For the Randa Meetings 2014 [2]
- For Krita: open source digital painting | Accelerate Development [3]
- For Tupi: 2D Animation Software for Everyone!

Good morning dear ladies and gentlemen
This is finally an attempt of a summary of this thread. Please see as well the
thread "KDE applications 4.14 LTS or 4.15?" on kde-devel and its summary.
But first some critic to myself. The proposal was too broad and not specific
enough.
First a summary o
Good morning dear KDE crowd
Yesterday we started the Randa Meetings 2014 fundraising campaign and are
already quite well underway but we need every help we can get to spread the
word as much as possible:

And here is the second summary and the extracted and condensed opinions of the
discussion participants:
- Carl: good plan, refinement at Akademy
- Albert: agrees, most of it should already exist, more streamlining is good

Good morning
It's now a bit more than "one or two" weeks but I finally found the time and
energy to summarize the discussion threads of my proposal emails. And here is
the first one (always start with the small ones ;-).
There were just two people who wrote their opinion and I'd like to summari

Morning gals and guys
First: there are several mailing lists in the "TO:" above but please just
write to the kde-devel mailing list for this discussion.
As the release schedule for our KDE applications in the version 4.14 [1] were
finalized at the beginning of this week it's time to discuss if
Proposal: To make the release and announcement process smoother and less
redundant work and to reach more people we should formalize and script some
(more) of the processes involved.

In the last weeks and months we had a plethora of releases and announcements.

Proposal: Offer the possibility for the suites/groups of apps to release
independently and make two, three or more release days ("Sigma" as the greek
symbol for the sum) per year where and when we make big promo for KDE
software.

Reduce the amount of KDE Core Apps according to a definition and release the
other apps in independent groups or suites like e.g. KDE Edu, KDE Games, KDE

Good morning
With the KDE Frameworks 5 [1] and Plasma [2] well underway the only thing of
the old KDE Software Collection are the KDE Applications that don't yet have a
release plan or schedule for the Qt5/KF5 port. Beneath these big changes in a
lot of our software there are quite a few other
