However, we couldn't support LTS anymore after the refactoring: the new QML UI
requires Qt >= 5.11, while bionic is at Qt 5.9. Next LTS will be 20.04, only

After hours being stupid with debug tools on Windows, I isolated the crash that
plagued 17.08.0 (in KFileMetadata, which is optional: out!).
So 17.08.1 is available for download, with fresh versions of dependencies, but
our same porting bugs (issues with icons, dialogs, etc)…

And it accelerates only effects/transition calculations, not encoding (most

#1: The development environment. Should I go with 14.04 (my current
env.) or do I need to use Vivid? I've used Vivid just last month but
frequent crashes made it pretty unstable and created a lot of
hindrance with workflow.

Ok, Kdenlive is now available in bugs.kde.org, which is pointed to in
frameworks code.
I don't change it in master nor on website for the moment, if we want to keep
mantis for the KDE4 version.
