windows issues

hello here are some issues that we've seen reported: -users have complained that they can't import files, someone suggested that manually changing Environment -> Tab: Default Folders -> Temporary Files from "/tmp/" to "C:\tmp"

Movit in bugtracker...

Hi guys, What if we close all the Movit related issues and transfer some of them to the phabricator thread? Movit is experimental and therefore buggy and it needs some special attention maybe. It would help to bring some sanity to the bugtracker as well... cheers --

Hi In archlinux if you are using kdenlive-git from AUR edit the PKGBUILD and remove the comment from the options lines: #options=(debug !strip) to options=(debug !strip) That way when running GDB you can report better bug reports. Cheers --

possible regression when moving clips

hi i started a project with 17.04.3 then updated to 17.11.70 and noticed a regression when moving clips in the timeline be it with the box select and then drag or with the spacer tool. if i open a new project in 17.11.70 and add twice as many clips to the timeline, i am able to drag them smoothy

timeline corruptions

hey guys, some tests we can do to see if the timeline corruptions happen when testing the refactoring branch are these: 1- speed effect 2- undo/redo various times after moving clips and restart project 3- move many clips at the same time through the timeline do you know/suspect of any other?
