Now running 3.13.0-031300rc3-generic (from Mainline/Trusty RC) and have
had the longest continual uptime since moving to 3.11 (i.e. upgraded to

There's no actual regression though because, although the generic mouse
driver doesn't have the sync issue, using it is even worse since it
doesn't expose any touchpad-specific functionality.

Christopher, I did not try a release before saucy, as the macbook uses
haswell processors which seamed not to be supported on raring. The issue
is also under discussion on

progress so far.
