We don't use LP merge requests for linux-firmware, also we generally
prefer direct cherry picks of the relevant commits.
I can apply those commits - is vivid the only release which needs them?
Seems like trusty might also want them for the lts-vivid kernel.

Hello I have lots of logs with this message, like 15mb a day. Also the
module randomly loses ability to connect an AP after a disconnection,
the only resolution is a reboot, more than one if necessary. The latter
happens also with the proprietary Broadcom driver.
