Public bug reported:
i am unable to install chrome via software centre.
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.04
Package: linux-image-4.10.0-22-generic (not installed)
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.10.0-21.23-generic 4.10.11
Uname: Linux 4.10.0-21-generic x86_64
ApportVersion: 2.20.4-0ub
4.10 series (hwe-edge) kernel doesn't seem to have gotten these fixes
yet, as 4.10.0-22-generic #24~16.04.1-Ubuntu still fails to set
openvswitch MTU correctly. When can we expect a fix to be released for
-edge?

I'm experiencing the same issue for a while now. I think it occurred
after I upgraded form Yakkety to Zesty.
I'm currently on 4.10.0-21-generic.
I think the issue is more likely to happen when I run CPU and / or RAM
intensive applications.
If this happens, all my screens are stuck.

I jumped to 4.10.1-041001-generic since I failed to go back to 4.4.0-72 which
used to work, everything is working again as it should without any problem, I
am now using the latest nvidia driver 381.22 (, also 378.13 worked perfectly
fine).
The kernel version definitely makes a difference
