Thanks Andrea. The new kernel seems to address the problem in such a way
that the block device made available is still not immediately usable,
but the kernel crash is prevented (at least in the test runs so far).

This issue was only spotted on node Baltar (P9)
This is caused by the return value in:
$ cat /sys/devices/system/node/has_normal_memory
0,8
The test was trying to use do arithmetic operation with it, but didn't
expect to get a return value with a comma in it.
