Actually no. It builds and does not have any downsides, but does not
resolve the issue. Sorry for that. When I looked at the history of
cpu_map and this patch, I did not see that it would require further
patches to actually make it work.
So that would leave it at these four patches:
Seeing how regression-prone the changes to the audio stack are, I'm
starting to think that maybe we should put additional requirements to
the SRU test cases. Maybe we should always check all the possible input
combinations for such SRUs? I'll have to think about it a bit.

If I do video conferences for example my wifi breaks down. I'm preety
sure the it happens since I updated my WiFi router (FritzBox 7590 to
Firmware 7.20). I was in contact with the manufacturer. They don't know
any problems.
I checked dmesg and saw a lot of error messages.
Could you also grep the wifi firmware version!?
#dmesg | grep iwlwifi.
e.g. iwlwifi :00:14.3: loaded firmware version 12345

Do you know what kind of chipset is your wifi ap or could you share you
model of wifi ap!? e.g. Broadcom, Realtek?
I have a same machine as yours and can't simply trigger the issue 1.
Could you dump the dmesg to me when the issue 1 is triggered!?

In Mint Cinnamon 19.1-64 kernel 4.15.0-118 doesn't get active after
4.15.0-112 updating (intermediary kernel updates were skipped). Kernel
4.15.0-112 stays active, 4.15.0-118 is only installed. Even after
several restarting and removing 4.15.0-118 with second kernel update.
I have the same MSFT0001:00 04F3:3186 touchpad, however, the touchpad
