Just thought that I would chime in here and say that this is definitely
a WiFi interference issue. On my Dell XPS 9550 (bcm20703a1 bluetooth
chipset) I would get really bad choppy, de-synced audio sometimes. I
finally figured out that whenever it was happening, I was connected to a

Setting thunderbolt to No Security on my device (XPS 9500 with Ubuntu 20.10)
