Issue Creating Files with Equal
setting
export QUOTING_STYLE=literal
in .profile or /etc/profile helps
It happened on moving from UBUNTU LTS 16.04 to UBUNTU LTS 18.04 (migration from
one server to the other, not an upgrade of one server)
It is related to the "ls" command only, and not a generic UNIX kernel.

filename is set correctly
echo *
' single quote is not part of the filename
"ls" command is displaying filenames differently as in LTS 16.04

This issue can be made with mkdir on directories as well as tar and other tools
as well.
