I don't use Ubuntu currently, but I think this is a Linux issue anyway.
After using a plain arch linux system, I now use a manjaro installation.
I could pair AND connect my Amazon Echo perfectly fine on the arch
installation. I could listen to music on there and everything was good.
Now on Manja
I found a sad solution for me now.
After more than 10 years of ubuntu, I installed Windows 10 on my laptop. Just
because it works way better with all that hardware.
Now I can actually use it like it is meant to be used.

That actually worked. So does that mean, that the IntelĀ® HD Graphics

Just downloaded a daily build, made a installable usb stick from it and
booted from that.
The result is attached.
I have no clue, why newer kernel versions don't run on Lenovo Yoga 3.

Tried the 14.04.2 which works correctly. The 14.04.5 does the same bug.
So I guess the Kernel 4.x is broke for Lenovo. And Canonical does not
care at all.
What does Priority "high" even mean? No progress since October 2016 and
all Lenovo Yoga 3 Notebooks keep Linux free...
A shame.

It also freezes with 16.10. The official one.
Will try the daily image soon. Gotta be there for my wife today, as it's her

Public bug reported:
A USB Stick prepared with 16.04.1 no matter whether "Try Ubuntu" or
"Install" is chosen, it freezes on splash-Screen.
With "quiet splash" removed, I get the output on the picture attached.
In the last line it says: "BUG Can't handle kernel"
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Seems not to be okay.
Installed 14.04-2 lts and using wifi usb dongle with rtl 8188UC chipset.
There are many many connection cuts. Mostly only the first request goes
through, maybe a second. Then it takes ages to load something. YOu have
to reconnect or even reboot to be able to use the net again
