didn'it know how to un-install it.
I decided to re-install totaly my system last week, in order to use the
driver that come with Ubuntu, and not modifying anything.

The ethernet seems to work correctly, from BIOS (wire test capabilities)
and from ubuntu the LED blinks.
But the connexion couldn't be etablished, so I decide to upgrade to
Realtek's last driver, which didn't solve anything more.

I am trying GIGABYTE motherboard (H61N-USB3) with a RTL8111E chip, with
the latest BIOS version (giving RTL8111F), and I installed the new
driver proposed by REALTEK (r8168-8.038.00, builded on 2014/01/08).
The card LED blinks (green orange), but there is no connexion to
