[Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS] Asus X550C using mousepad makes Ubuntu freeze
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
OK Wait, before this will get deleted: the same bug reoccurred again. I had
made a fresh re-installation of lubuntu after the bios upgrade broke things.
Now the bug didn't occur at all unless I would update the nvidia drivers with
the following packages:
nvidia-331
nvidia-settings
nvidia-prime
Hello,
did not come back to this as updating my bios made my notebook unuseable and I
had to send it in for service. Now back with the upgraded bios, mousepad seems
to be working in perfect order!

Interesting. I am running the latest Kernel and I don't have this bug, but
another one. My touchpad works fine, as do left and right mouse buttons.
However, whenever I keep using the touchpad instead of an external mouse
consistently: ubuntu freezes within a period of 2 to 25 minutes. I kept
