This is not a kernel problem but rather a init script problem with initrd not
executing `iscsistart` command to login to iscsi boot target. If you read bug
description above, you will see there is a workaround by manually running this
command on 14.04. I know
Do you happen to know if this issues also happens in releases newer than 14.04?
No, we have not tested other versions.
