I've been running Antergos for months now. I only have sound with the LTS
kernel and I can see the card when I run 'aplay -l'. I use pavucontrol to
switch the audio. The keyboard always worked and the mouse works after the
kernel was patched.

I have this same problem with 16.04.1, on a similar Samsung Chromebook 3
platform, XE500C13-K02US (4G RAM).
This platform is ideal for Ubuntu, yet, I have the same problem, no
native keyboard or mouse interaction. I'm writing this comment on the
Samsung Chromebook 3 while using a hardwired USB
I'm sorry for the hassle; I don't know why I didn't think to attach the
patch to the bug report. Thank you for all of your help.
I believe I applied the patch to v4.3-wily after the other patches in
that directory.

I'm sorry for zipping the files, I didn't see a way to attach multiple
files.
Thank you for putting me in contact with Dmitry Torokhov. He made a
patch for me and everything is working now. The patch should make its
way into the kernel sometime.
Thanks for the help!

I don't have a URL for the patch. He emailed it to me so that I could
start using it right away. I don't know when it will be a part of the
kernel.
