Hi,
In KOHA (as far as I know!) any item type can either be for loan or not for
loan. Our KOHA settings do not allow members to place hold on items that are
available on shelf. Needless to say items under 'reference' also cannot be put
on hold.
When new books are added they are classified as
Yep, I can recreate bug on 3.14.1, on 3.14.5 and on master.
So definitely you file a bug at bugs.koha-community.org .. we
shouldn't be able to send a file to Koha that causes the inventory.pl
script to spin out of control.
Thanks Chris! I'll file a bug.

You can set that up, but it may not display without changing the stylesheet.
Warning: this is the part I leave up to my computer wizard, but here's an
answer I got from

Hello,
Try pointing your browser at http://library.koha.shelf.books without any port
number. That should bring up the same page as with port number 80 . Port 80
is the default for http .
For your staff client you can create a different IP address, then change your
apache configuration file
Thanks Robin,
it was lurking in biblioitems.itype, the default itype for a biblio
and now my problem is sorted
cheers
Chris

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me where the item availability status on the search
results page comes from, specifically if a search yields more than one match
and shows the results in the summary format? After a recent migration from
Athena to Koha 3.14.03, I'm seeing 1 item, 1 available for
Hi Steve,

Thanks for the suggestion.yes, I had also already done a full zebra rebuild
with 'sudo koha-rebuild-zebra -f LIBNAME' and that did not resolve it for
me.

Thank you so much for your response, Robin! I ran the update as suggested and
get the following output/results:
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.01 sec)
Rows matched: 379 Changed: 0 Warnings: 0
Does that look correct to you? I would have expected it to have changed 379
rows as well, no?
That definitely fixed the issue for me, Robin, so thanks again!!! I see the
availability status properly in both the summary and detail screens now.

I would have expected that also, but if it worked, it worked :)
