Dear all
We have just upgraded a koha from 3.16 (packages) to 16.11 and we're facing
problems in aquisitions migration data.
We have identified at least two types of issues...
1. Not all orders are shown in the module (they're al llinked to the
records, then all the info is in mysql) for example

What version of Koha is it?
We're running a new host with Debian GNU/Linux 8 and Koha 16.11.04.
Do you have errors or messages in the log files?
You can monitor them using tail. At first place I would have a look at
opac-error.log and plack-error.log,

Hi Hugo,
A big work has been done in price calculation in 16.11, see bug 13321 and
related.
It certainly comes from these patches.
I guess you can see differences in orders as well? If you find one, would
you be able to give us the vendor and order tax configuration as well as
the prices and quant

Hi Jonathan
I made a new attempt to use strace which has a different and much
shorter output:
1. I made a login attempt.
2. As soon as I saw the query was taking 99% of the CPU I picked the PID
(here: 63895) from the output of "top" and executed the following command:
# strace -c -p 63895

I do not understand why %time is 0, should not be, especially if the
process takes 30s
Try to get the most complete output with a long query, then a complete
output with a normal query. Maybe we will see the differences between both.
You should write a script not to have to retrieve the pid manuall

There are now 766 calls vs 1599 in your previous paste. I would have
expected more, less does not help :)
If it is the pl script execution that takes 30s, it should not come from
network latencies.

That's maybe just because it doesn't take the same amount of time with
every attempt - sometimes it's 10 seconds, but (most of the time) it
goes up to 40 seconds.

Is this true of ALL items?
Do you have "On shelf holds allowed" enabled for the item types in

Hi Daniel,
this sounds all quite good, 2 other things you can try:
- Make sure the system preference maxreserves is set to a positive value
- Enter a circulation condition for All libraries - All patron
categories - All item types, where holds are allowed
Hope this helps,
