I went with the new airfiol on both the wings and H.S. I also stretched it to 14' and widened it an extra 10" along with widening the center spars 10" so i dont lose wing surface area. I'm building my wing tanks of aluminum. Using a corvair engine injected I think. I'm building it for speed

I'm about to start a build in the Westminster MD area. I'm interested in what people think have been good modifications to make. Things like is it worth giving the plane some extra stretch, larger/smaller control surfaces, etc. Also, are there things that I should definitely leave original.

I just looked at the pre-registration and 14 people have pre-registered and of those 7 are flying their KR to the Gathering. This could be a record breaking year for planes at the Gathering if this pace continues. We will be celebrating the 39th year of KR flight. Wouldn't it be great to have
