Thanks Dan and Larry I think it is the bolt holes, or maybe the bolts ... I'll check and see. The movement is definitely between the two halves of the wing at the WAFs and was checked with the bolts inserted but not tightened up at all. ... Just when I thought we were almost ready to fly!

Once the wings are bolted on, the play must be zero. If I understand you correctly. Find the cause and correct it. I certainly suspect that the bolt holes are too large and you will have to ream them out to the next size up. Don't take my word for it. I am sure you will get more replies on
