master set via carbon paper to a set of taped together manilla
envelopes, cutting them out, and storing them in the plans book. Never a

A google search of forged Corvair cranks shows a company named Magnificent
Machine producing a forged crank for the Corvair engine for about $ 1200 and
change. I bit pricey at about double the price of a forged crank for a SB
Chevy. When I try to access their website I get an HTML error.

Anyone know John Shaffer's where about's? I am just now going on this
list for the first time of KR builders and he was a friend. I see he has
built a new KR2. My KR2 is not finished... Have not worked on it for
