Isn't stick height a factor as well? I have a very tall non-tilting stick,
with a chain drive pivoting handle. It would seem to be less pichy feeling. A
lot more stick movement is required for the same control surface deflection in
my case. Better? I do not know. Different? Yes. Also it al
I have a tri-cycle KR-2 with around 250 hrs TT. It has a Rev Master 2100. I
bought it several months ago, but have not flown it yet due to the lack of time
to work it. The seat configuration would not work for me. Flat bottom, no
head room. Needs seats and interior, but I have the seat that
I have this same ugly air scoop on mine. I have a TG, and have not flown it
yet. How does it cool? I would like a better looking cowl eventually. BTW,
How do you deal with the distributer sticking up? I have seen photos of a
lower profile configuration.

Did they see this on the P-51? Or did they do an engine swap along with the
redesign?

Hi Bart Ferguson of Houston:
I also live in Houston with a KR-2. Give me a call if you get a chance.

Hi Phil:
Yours is a reversing throttle. A non-reversing is a simple push handle or when
the attachment is above the pivot point rather than below. I am switching my
Revmaster from non-reversing to reversing for shorter/straighter/simpler cable
routing, more leverage, and smoother operation.
It's done! Retractable no more. I feel like when I had a Vasectomy, accept
without the discomfort. What a pile of parts I now have. Let's see what it
(the pile and the plane) weighs.

Now that's done, I can put in a new seat bottom. How well does Diehl's
fiberglass dished-out seat bottom work?

Is anybody flying a KR2 open cockpit with a partial canopy? If I seal the back
off with an extended backrest will it work, and fly right? I would want it to
have have interchangeable canopy depending on our miserable Houston summer
weather.
Chuck
Thanks for the info on gear and open cockpit. I am doing the mains now before
I take it out the first time. The nose gear is complete. Now I need to fill
those big holes on the wing bottom (later).
I think I may fly it open cockpit first, and hope I don't encounter adverse
flight characteris
Hi Phillip:
Thanks, I was thinking about using a second lever for trim too. I have to
relocate them anyway, because the trims controls were mounted to arm rests
which I have removed.

Hi group,
I am new to the list. I just purchased a KR2 with retracts. I have read about
the gear collapses, but I am not clear if they are mostly nose gear, mains, or
both. Which is it?
I have already switched my nose gear to fixed. I am not sure if I will modify
the mains until I start
mains. Are you> going to be at the Mini KR Gathering
