Wow. 1800ft (853m) that’s longer than my entire runway.
Keep practicing, you should be able to takeoff and land in less that half of
that.
But just keep the KR grin.
Larry has posted my 50th cap and shirt to me in Australia. Looking forward to
get them. Thanks again Larry
Phil.

It’s a fairly simple job to make the aileron spar caps last, when finished
cutting and sanding to shape, then just sit them in their correct place, fit
and drill the piano hinge, then remove and fit lock nut to the back of the
spar.

Hi guys
I lost contact with an old friend Serg Vidal, was living in Melbourne, some
years ago. Returned to Paris. He was on the kr net some time ago.
If anyone knows Serg, would you mind asking him to contact me
Thanks

KR
Update
Not happy with W&B. I just moved engine forward 3 inches, and redoing all my
W&B checks. As it was tail heavy
Empty CofG was 2 inch behind the Fwd limit
3 inches forward seems to allow two people with full fuel and baggage.
But still sorting. Not happy with spacers on engine mount. When s
Australia to Mt Vernon. Wow what a challenge.
As all new build it will need a testing phase

KRnet
Question 1
Australia has a basic pilot licence and a PPL
Basic, is based on a truck license and is done by your normal Doctor, can
carry up to 5 passengers.
I would have thought the USA would be similar

My KR2Ss wing tanks extend about 16 inches behind main outer wing spar at the
WAF
That’s about 20.5 from leading edge.
So about 1/2 through the tank from the L/E is about 20 inches.
Just doing an empty W&B as we speak
So that is what I will use till a professional W&B IS DONE.
