With the Dynon the battery can be located just about anywhere within reason.
Don't put it ahead of the firewall. And the battery test is a yearly

I really do wish this was true. I will keep this short. Getting the airplane to

disappointing. I could control the airplane on the ground and bring it to a

There has been some comment on this topic lately and I do like to add my two
cents when I have actual experience to share. This is one of areas of building
that a lot of us think about from the very first day. And while that is a good
idea you should do your best to try and make it one of the la
Hello Samuel,
As already mentioned a wing fence all around would probably be a good idea at
the transition but I think the biggest hurdle will be aligning the spars.

All,
Some time ago there was a discussion about gluing pieces of foam together to
make a larger block that can then be sanded. For years I used the biggest
blocks I could find and used spots of five minute epoxy to join them together.
Then just hoped I didn't hit a glue spot. It worked but only

I am not sure what was meant to be said but there is a typo in here somewhere.
West System Epoxies are very much a structural epoxy. It is true that they were
originally designed for the marine application which can be even more stressfu
I think the decision of what kind of seat is every bit as important a decision
as to what resin or wood we use in our airplanes. I would say that there is
little argument as to the simplicity of the stock sling seat but if you are
going beyond that then it should require some real thought espec

I am very happy to report a new KR has been born. After an extremely long build

That sounds kind of familiar. Because of my lack of experience and tools for

It really depends on your geometry. I used the 7A for mine but I am also using

Hello Stef,
If you go with a fixed inlet and outlet your "flow" through the cowl will be
optimized for only one speed range. A lot of cowls have a variable outlet which
will also control the inlet. Variable inlets being harder to design. If you go
