This is a little off that subject, but it made me think of when I was making
the recess hole in the wing, for the weight. If you are using wing skins,
decide where your weight will go and insert a block of foam in the area
between aft of the aft spar and where your false aileron spar will go. It is

I made mine out of steel angle after seeing Jim F's. last year. I did
not make it any longer than needed than to get 2 bolts in to hold the
lead on and I held the lead as far forward as possable to just clear the
spar to keep the lead weigth to a min. I'll check the sizes after church
for ya.

I had a aircraft engineer look at the counter weight drawings, and his first
comment was the bracket should have a web welded to it,
With a lead weight hanging of it, it could be a weak point.
