Final accounting of Gathering funds in my possession;
I forwarded $4000 to Steve Glover for last years Gathering. He felt
that was enough to cover expenses. That left me holding $1,008 of
which I forwarded last week that full amount to Dan Prichard in
Portland for next years Gathering. Tha
Did the gathering fund account settle up with Steve yet. I know at Mount Vernon
?we usually ends up with a gain. But this year I know Steve had extra expenses.?

Sorry Dana and netters. That e-mail was supposed to go to Dana

Dana,
Hope you are doing well health wise and looking forward to
Christmas. This cold nasty weather sure has cut down on the KR fixes. :-)
I keep getting e-mails asking for an accounting of this years
Gathering funds. Why they don't e-mail you direct is beyond me but I

I spoke with Dana Overall this morning by phone concerning the
Gathering funds and the news is good. He indicated that we should
come out with the same or better by a few hundred dollars over last
year. His delay in responding is due to combined personal health

As the host for two years, I can say without hesitation, thanks Linda and
Steve for jumping in and carrying on the gathering.
I believe when I turned over funds after the 2000 gathering we had something
like $12-$1300 left over. It takes the host putting up the remainder out of

I looked at some of the photos and saw that it must
have been a great time. I will definitely support the
next gathering although I don't think my KR2S will
actually be ready by then. Who knows. I'll finally
meet all the names I see here in Mount Vernon.

Linda,
Thanks for two great gatherings and for pointing out the beer for me at the
last one. You would think that I could sniff it out.
It seems that the gatherings just about break even and eventually there
should be enough money in the pot so no one will have to go "out of pocket"
to put one o
I'll second that,
Thanks-so-much Linda for an outstanding effort.
