For anybody close enough to fly or drive,Mt Vernon IL. (Home of the 04,05 and
06 KR Gathering) is having a fly-in/veterans reunion on October 15,2005.The
flyer says 8:00AM-5:00PM.Looks like they are going to have several Military
aircraft on display as well as a lot of activities...you
Just a quick note to remind everyone in the area.Tomorrow is Mt Vernon's little
Egypt fly in.I believe it is from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.Hope to see some KR's
there.I know Ken Jones is going to try and fly the Pig in.Looks like the only
weather is 5-10 kt winds...

I'm planning to be at MVN on Friday. My wife hasn't flown anywhere further
than an hour this summer, and wants to verify there are other pilots out there
as cheap as me!
We hope to be there Friday sometime, but if weather closes in, it might be
Saturday.

room at the block rate, even though the date had expired on Aug 18. It says
two things to me, first of all, not all of you have sighed up to stay yet and
second of all they are empty enough to still give a goo
