Hey Guys, Nasty winter and I didn't get as much done as I wanted but the most recent time spent was in designing the canopy hinge and latch systems. I wanted the hinge to be internal as much as it could be and I think that I have that taken care of that. The panel will have to be about 1" short

Speaking of wheel pants.Took mine off yesterday to get some idea of handling without them.Am thinking of putting on larger tires.to make turf landings.My speed was 5-10 knots slower though not really a problem except for longer flights x-country.No noticeable changes otherwise.We have a turf runway

Up to my ears in work. KR wise, my aluminum spinner cracked while on the way to the Cactus Fly-in earlier this month. I was somewhat surprised at how my plane flew with the spinner off. No significant difference in climb or speed, but the plane required some right rudder in cruise to maintain
