My plane was built from scratch to flying status with day VFR only
instruments and handheld radio in 3 years, by a man in OK.
I could have completed Class B mods in one month if I stayed with it steady,
but it was one year later, along with Day and Night VFR mods.

In the mid 1980's I visited a guy in Vanderbylpark, South Africa. His name was
Johan - I cannot remerber his surname.
He built his KR2 in a garage of a flat complex (you know how small those are)
in less than eight months. Right from initial start to finish and from plans
