My plane was built from scratch to flying status with day VFR only instruments and handheld radio in 3 years, by a man in OK. I could have completed Class B mods in one month if I stayed with it steady, but it was one year later, along with Day and Night VFR mods. I believe Bill Clapp's site

Hi all, In the mid 1980's I visited a guy in Vanderbylpark, South Africa. His name was Johan - I cannot remerber his surname. He built his KR2 in a garage of a flat complex (you know how small those are) in less than eight months. Right from initial start to finish and from plans only. I saw

Hi Dene & all, Now that's dedication. For those that have not read this, I still have this from the KR archives: One of the surprises -- and wonders -- of Oshkosh '74 was the KR-2 built in 74 days by the Wicks Organ Company of Highland, Illinois. Constructed as a commercial venture to
