Has anyone tried to make a lay up with vinylester resin over cured epoxy resin (West System)? ?As in a fuel tanks.? I??want to make my front deck with out the header tank so I can start on my canopy. ?I don't want to buy the vinylest resin untill I start on the wing tanks so I can do all tanks

I have some vinylester resin that I bought two or three months ago and have not opened yet. I know that promoted ve has a short shelf life, but what exactly happens to it when it expires? How can I tell if it is still good? I am probably only going to use it to make a mold so I don't care about

Marks point about being ready to use it when you buy it is very important. I have bought 2 gallons and have used maybe 1/2 gal. total. Now I need more. I tried to revive the hardened resin by heating but it did not work. Does anyone know a source for vinylester resin other than A/C Spruce or a
