This seems like the second solution I proposed. It is very desirable,
but not the perfect solution ( which would be to understand CUE files ).
Thank you. I'd leave the wish open until CUE files are understood by
Amarok, because opera listeners on Windows just _expect_ the player to
understand CUE

clicking Mark as duplicate and then deleting the number from the box

Please could you duplicate the one that you think is a bug and then

I had this bug with Amarok 1.4 on Dapper fully updated as of 2006-05-19.

collection_scan.files
collection_scan.log

I had that happen to me when I installed amarok 1.4 on dapper today as
well. I will try deleting those files. It probably is some sort of
database corruption. I have never had this problem before (the bug is
from a year ago, a much older version of amarok)

Mmm. Buggy ACPI then.
Might be able to do some sort of hack at the gnome-power-manager level
that says that if there is keyboard activity, force the LID open; but
this would probably introduce as many extra complexities as it would
solve - for instance, what happens when the machine is closed
It seems a number of people are experiencing this problem:

It may be that our ACPI is just buggy, but I have my doubts. I haven't
tested in Windows but I'll bet it works fine there. On the other hand I
think there's also a bug in g-p-m here:
It would be better if it reacted to the state change rather than the
state. Paul mentions external keyboards
