I first encountered that bug when installing Kubuntu 17.10 on my HP Zbook. I found a turnaround (see below) but the bug reappeared today after upgrading to Kubuntu 18.04. The segfault appears in libkcupslib.so, which is in the print-manager package: $ apt-file search libkcupslib.so print-manager:

Waiting for the fix, my workaround is to automatically launch the Yakuake terminal at startup: by pressing F12 I can access to yakuake and work in command line, waiting for plasma to be ready. You can then launch firefox or libreoffice by command line, for example. -- You received this bug
