I have had a spate of these strange messages. Some trigger off my anti-virus, so I just delete all of them as they arrive. I know the Lists do not allow attachments, so anything labelled as coming from Arachne that has an attachment or anything different in the subject line gets ditched quickly!

This looks like address spoofing to me. These aren't coming from Arachne but they're being sent with an Arachne address (I've never heard of lace-digests-outgoing @ arachne.com--the address is fictitious) as the recipient. Certainly there is no [EMAIL PROTECTED] subscribed to lace or lace digest. I
