Interestingly, I read, that due to the design decisions made when I was
designing the letters for my recent book, it appears that I might have run
into a 'brick wall'?
In case anyone fears for my safety, I would like to assure those who may be
interested that is simply not the case.
Liz Ligetti in Australia has sent me some very useful info about
Presencia/Finca threads and I've added Presencia to the list of
coloured threads. We get Presencia Finca lacethread and Finca Perle in
UK but I've never seen any of the sewing thread (which I guess will be
similar to our

Actually Tamara, after I sent, I thought some more, and there are some
very old English fonts that curl to the right (as in the illuminated
scripts from Medieval or shortly thereafter period), and also some
(which I think of as on Wanted posters from the Wild West or Bushranger

Lorelei,
Don't feel so bad about your thread. I made a B earlier this year from
a pattern an Ozzie friend sent me (hi Annette :-) ), and I used about a
140/2 cotton, but for the thick thread, I used coloured 50 Retours -
pink to outline the flower, green for the leaves and Blue for the
letter.
Hi Lorelei

I have had a problem for years trying to get people interested in Honiton.
The two most frequent comments I hear are I'd love to do that but I

Ever since I got (and duly forwarded) a Borowitz article a while ago,
I've bookmarked the site, and have been dipping into it on a regular
basis. I don't want to subscribe to it (one can), because I don't want
my Inbox to burst, and I prefer to amuse myself when I feel like it.
But, really...
